Would you like to join ThunderClan?” Rusty, the main character of Into the Wild, by Erin Hunter, has been having strange dreams for weeks, in which he is stalking a mouse in the forest next to his owners’ house. Rusty finally gets up the nerve to venture into the place of his dreams, and is confronted by the wild cats that reside there, and his venture ends with Rusty being invited into ThunderClan as Firepaw. Will Firepaw’s courage and determination help him withstand the automatic prejudice towards kittypets, and solve a mystery about a noble warrior’s death?
