“So if you’re not Artemis, who are you?” “My name is Orion; I am so pleased to meet you at last…” “I was submerged by Artemis’s personality…” “Your weapon gave me the jolt needed to escape.” Artemis Fowl, the main character of Artemis Fowl: The Atlantis Complex, by Eoin Colfer, has contracted a fairy disease which has two stages: one similar to OCD, and the second to multiple personality disorder. Unfortunately, Turnball Root, the late commander Julius Root’s brother, has escaped from jail, and Artemis is needed to apprehend him. Will Artemis’s ingenuity and creativeness be enough to fight obsession and an extreme case of multiple personality disorder?
