Science Fair

“He’s going to fry all the electronics in Washington D.C., and probably for hundreds of miles around. You understand what that means?” “No. And I don’t care.” “It means the government goes down, and it doesn’t come back up.” Toby Harbringer, the main character of Science Fair, by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, is a student at Hubble Middle School, which is sadly a school full of the spoiled, rich Manor Estate kids, and targeted by foreign terrorists determined to destroy the U.S. electronic data banks with an electromagnetic pulse. Spoiled as they are, the Manor Estate kids have a supplier that gives them star science projects, for a price, that are to be used in the school science fair, but what they don’t know is that their supplier is a terrorist using the classified technology, accessed by their rich parents, to cripple they government for an excessively long period of time. With the science fair approaching, two Star Wars crazy collectors set on stealing his dad’s rare collection, and the end of the world around the corner, Toby will need all of his extraordinary bravery and ingenuity.
