Alex Rider, the main character of Stormbreaker, has just gotten some very bad news. His uncle, Ian Rider, is dead, and, since his parents died in a plane crash, that leaves him without any close family. Alex doesn't believe the police when they tell him his uncle died from a car crash, and not wearing his seat belt, because Ian wouldn't even drive down a block if someones seat belt wasn't on. But what will happen to Alex when he goes looking for the truth?
