Jason Grace, Piper McLean, and Leo Valdez, the main characters of The Lost Hero, are all going to get shocked, some of them in different ways. Jason has lost his memory, but Piper and Leo say they've known him for months. Piper finds out that the Greek gods are real, but it's not much of a shock after discovering that her dad has been captured by a giant. Leo also discovers that the Greek gods are real, but then he discovers a life-size metal dragon. Jason, Leo, and Piper must go on a quest to rescue Hera before she is claimed by the Earth and Porphyrion rises.
