Percy Jackson, Hazel Levesque, and Frank Yang, the main characters of The Son of Neptune, are all sent on a quest by Frank's father Mars, god of war. Frank is a big, bulky, boy who's life is tied to a stick; if it completely burns, he dies. Hazel, daughter of Pluto, died resisting Gaea, the earth goddess, and refusing to follow through with the last step of raising the giant Alcyoneus. Percy, son of Neptune, has lost his memory, except for one name; Annabeth; but somehow has unpiercable skin. Will they be able to stop Alcyoneus?
