Harry Potter, the main character in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, by J.K. Rowling, is an average eleven year-old British boy, raised by his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon after his parents died in a car crash. But there's something not so ordinary about Harry; and when he receives letters from a mysterious source that seems to know exactly where he lives, he soon discovers that he is a wizard, and his parents were actually murdered by the feared Dark wizard, Lord Voldemort. Voldemort, or You-Know-Who, tried to kill Harry too, but failed, and the curse rebounded and struck Voldemort. Harry soon leaves his aunt and uncle to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but Voldemort didn't die that night, and there's something secret in the school, that might let him return to being.
