Percy Jackson, the main character of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, is having the worst two days of his life. His pre-algebra teacher turned into a hag and tried to kill him, his best friend is part goat, and his mom just got murdered by a Minotaur. Percy is now at Camp Half-Blood, a summer camp where demigods, children of mortals and Greek gods learn to fight and not get eaten by monsters. Percy is blamed of stealing Zeus's master bolt, a two-foot piece of Celestial Bronze with as much power as an atomic bomb. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover must find the master bolt before the summer solstice, or there will be war.
