Alex Taylor, the main character of The Horn of Moran, has discovered he is a wizard, killed a humongous dragon, and been accepted as the apprentice of the famous wizard Whalen Vankin. He then returned to his step-father's pub and started practicing magic. One day, many geebs arrived, bringing letters from Silvan Bregnest, the leader of his first adventure, that told him of another adventure he might want to join; and a letter from Whalen Vankin telling him to go on the adventure. Alex leaves immediately, and soon discovers that the goal of the adventure is to find the horn of Moran, and return it to Alusia to stop a brewing war. But what will happen when an old evil from Alex's first adventure reappears?
