Many sorcerers, far more powerful than you, have lost their lives in this pursuit. And they spent years preparing first. Decades.” Erec Rex, the main character of The Search for Truth, by Kaza Kingsley, is on his way to being king of Alypium, but first he has to complete twelve tasks. His fourth task is to find the Awen of Beauty, Sight, Creation, Knowledge, and Harmony, and then unite them with the Twrch Trwyth, which would change their power from causing Ugliness, Blindness, Destruction, Stupidity, and Anger; and then increase the now positive effects. Will Erec’s goodwill and bravery be enough to accomplish something that no one has ever survived?
