“Gold isn’t all important Arty, and neither is power…” Artemis Fowl Senior has recently escaped from the grasp of the Russian Mafia, and has come home with ideas of nobility and honor, but for Artemis Fowl Junior; the main character of Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code, by Eoin Colfer; that is borderline horrific. Artemis soon compromises with himself and decides that after a deal with the infamous businessman Jon Spiro, he will join his father on the straight and narrow. Artemis has built a supercomputer out of advanced fairy technology, and when he attempts his deal, it goes wrong, and his bodyguard Butler is shot. Jon Spiro is an intelligent, paranoid man, but can he beat Artemis?
